Cannon Mae Craft proudly serves as Miss Mississippi for America Strong. A United States Marine Corps veteran, current law enforcement officer, and board member of 5th SQD, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting veterans and first responders, Cannon has devoted her life to serving others. Guided by her unwavering faith in God, she believes that true leadership begins with a servant’s heart. Every season of her life has been shaped by the calling to serve—from wearing the uniform of the United States Marine Corps to continuing that mission in law enforcement and through nonprofit leadership.

 

As Miss Mississippi for America Strong, Cannon’s platform is dedicated to promoting mental health awareness for service members, veterans, law enforcement officers, first responders, and their families. Having witnessed the emotional and mental challenges that often accompany careers of service, she is passionate about breaking the stigma surrounding mental health. Through education, community outreach, and open conversations, she encourages those who are struggling to seek help without fear or shame. Cannon believes that asking for help is a sign of courage, and she is committed to ensuring those who serve our communities and our nation know they never have to face their battles alone.At the center of Cannon’s life is her relationship with God. She strives to honor Him in every aspect of her life, believing we are all called to serve others with humility, compassion, and love. Her faith is the foundation of her character and the driving force behind every role she fulfills—as a veteran, law enforcement officer, nonprofit leader, and titleholder.

 

Whether wearing a crown, a badge, or the Eagle, Globe, and Anchor, Cannon’s mission remains the same: to glorify God through service, inspire hope, and make a lasting impact in the lives of others. She is honored to represent Mississippi with faith, strength, compassion, and the unwavering belief that a servant’s heart has the power to change lives.
